It’s a high-end, professionally printed anthology featuring six exceptional attorneys from one state. Each attorney contributes their essay on a specific topic for that year's anthology, which we professionally edit. We also interview each attorney and include that interview in the book, along with a profile we write for each contributor. Each attorney therefore receives a deeply personal, narrative-rich chapter that explores a key legal myth, their career journey, and how they serve clients with integrity and skill.

Is this a bar journal or academic publication?

No — and that’s what makes it powerful. Legal Legends is a professionally produced book designed for public impact, credibility, and prestige. It’s about storytelling, not citations. Unlike annual best of type magazines, we create extremely selective, prestige-first lasting anthologies.

Why only six attorneys per book?

Exclusivity is the point. Each volume is limited to six lawyers to ensure depth, clarity of voice, and shared prestige. It’s like sharing a courthouse building — collective reputational capital, without giving up your independence.

What if I can’t find five others to join me?

Although we are willing to work with pre-vetted cohorts, we will find the contributing attorneys. Should we not have six contributors then there will be no cost and there will be no anthology.

How much does it cost?

$5,000 per attorney. This covers interviews, ghostwriting, editing, design, professional publishing, and strategic positioning. We also offer one premium position for each anthology, which means your story runs first, it is longer, and you will be intereviewed on our podcast and receive other perquisites.

Is this just vanity publishing?

Not at all. Legends books are tools of authority. They’re used in intake meetings, on websites, in referrals, on podcasts, and more. You’re not buying printing — you’re investing in legacy, visibility, and long-term positioning. This is a great way to bake in natural PR and get your voice out there over the noise.

Will I own my chapter?

Yes. You retain copyright to your contribution. We reserve publishing rights only for the final book as a whole.

We limit each cohort to attorneys in the same state who practice in the same practice area. Every year is a different practice area, which we cycle through in six year cycles. In 2026, for instance, Famiy Law. Every book tackles shared legal themes through varied lenses — which is part of the magic.
